The Blutbad 50 MKII was built for Noel Holden of Sunnyvale, CA who provided the Sozo caps for the project. It was dubbed the MKII due to it's unique features such as tube vice solid state rectification, a tube buffered effects loop, and both Pre AND post phase inverter master volume controls. The Blutbad 50 is normally solid state rectified and does not include an effects loop or post PI master. This amp is hands down the LOUDEST and most SUSTAINING 50 watt amp I have ever built. I attribute the amazing tone, volume capabilities and sustain to the combination of the Marstran OT and pre/post PI master volume setup. The last 50 watter I built utilized a Mercury Magnetics OT and this Marstran will hands down defeat it in a tone, crunch, volume or sustain test(Thanks Brian for building a fantastic OT). This one is a winner all around. Great rock, metal, death metal, goth. shredder tone in one extremely versatile package.
