The Bristol is a Class A design that was inspired by the current production "contemporary tone" EL84 based amps but the Bristol is a unique circuit and overall product. The circuit design is tweaked for string definition, clarity and sustain. It allows the amp to maintain a "sweet" bell like tone that EL84's are known for no matter what the volume setting. The master volume is completely transparent and not unlike utilizing an external attenuator in that it does not color the tone at all. It's also out of the circuit when maxed out. The Bristol is an extremely versatile amp with highly interactive tone controls in a small but powerful package. Stage or Studio, this amp is extremely well suited for Blues, Rock, Jazz, Country, Fusion and anywhere an incredible sounding low wattage contemporary British based tone is needed. Available in 15, 20 and 30 watts.

Low Gain Preamp Switch: Drops Preamp gain for slightly more headroom
Pentode / Triode Switch: Drops 15 or 20 down to just under half power
Half Power Switch: Available on 30 watt design
Cathode Bias Resistor Selector Switch: Allows two or three different bias selections for the output stage resulting in different output wattages
Raw Control: Bypasses the tone stack for a large gain boost, available in potentiometer or selector switch
Balanced Line Out: Available in XLR jack with volume and tone controls
Line out: Available in 1/4 mono jack
Multiple Impedance Output Transformer: Available on any design and comes with a selector switch. 2/4/8 or 4/8/16 ohms available
