Lee ordered a Kensington 45 with four modifications and a BB style 2x12 open / closed back convertible cabinet. It's wrapped in green and cream levant, with gold piping and vintage cane style grill cloth which makes it look as good as it sounds. The modifications from the standard Kensington 45 include the channel tie switch which allows the bright and normal channels to be internally tied and active at the same time, a low gain preamp switch which emulates the gain of having a 12AY7 in slot one which has a 12AX7, a Boost switch which bypasses the tone stack, and a post phase inverter master volume was added to the rear of the chassis. The amp is also wired to take 6L6/5881, EL34/KT77 or KT66 power tubes with a simple re-bias which is easily done with the external test points and bias potentiometer. Lee is going to demo the amp on video which will be uploaded to the site along with sound samples from his new recordings. Be sure to check out Lee at his Myspace link below.
