I've been admiring Scott's playing for many years now, he does it all and makes it look easy. His playlist is a mix of all good American roots based music, Blues, Surf, Soul, Rockabilly and a healthy dose of good ole Rock & Roll. Scott and the guy's pour their soul in to every note of every song at every gig. Not many artists are this versatile and sound great doing it. This is the Stuff!


The amp produces crisp clean thick lead or country twang tones, but also keeps a slight overdriven edge when chording. No amp does everything perfectly but I feel that this particular design creates an extremely versatile well rounded tone that is as at home in the studio as it is on the stage. Once the master volume is set where you want it cleans, Texas raunch, and heavy overdriven rock sounds are only a preamp volume turn away.

Here are a few sound samples of Scott showing a few different tones you can get with this amp. All were done on a 62 RI strat or 52 RI Tele using slightly hotter than normal single coils through an EVM12L 1X12 open back speaker cabinet.
