The Hawk 15 and 30 are Class A, EL84 based designs that were developed while attempting to make the absolute best contemporary country and country rock amplifiers available. The result is an amp that breathes better, sustains longer, with more chime, sparkle, spank, and quack than anything else I've encountered. It's a remarkably touch sensitive, responsive and toneful amp that begs to be cranked. The string definition and clarity of notes, especially on the lower bass notes (where mud or muddy is a term most use) which are just as bell like and resonant as the upper register. In the hands of an accomplished country, country rock or rockabilly telecaster picker, this amp shines like no other I have heard.

The prototype Hawk 30 (Serial number 001) opened for Willie Nelson and Jerry Jeff Walker three days after it fired up for the first time.
